Cont. Ed: Ethical Considerations When Working With Minors (Part 1)

Training Details:
This workshop will be divided into two different parts. The goals of both dates involve using the Multiple Perspective Model to guide our ethical decision making. The workshop will look at special issues associated with working with minors and their families; how to interpret and navigate professional codes of ethics and state licensing requirements and the second day will involve practical application of various case scenarios.
Part 2 of this training series will be on Friday, October 6th from 9 am to 11 am.
*Journey Mental Health Center has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6760. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credits are clearly identified. Journey Mental Health Center is solely responsible for all aspects of this program.
Presenters Bio:
Dr. Hutter, PsyD, LMFT
Dr. Hutter is currently providing services in various roles. He is a visiting professor at Iona University in New York; the Gender Services Specialist at Sand Ridge Secure Treatment Center; an adjunct faculty member for North Central University in California; as well as owning his own private practice, where he provides consultation, supervision, and trainings. His clinical work focuses on LGBTQ+ youth and adults, sexual dysfunction, conflictual couples, persons belonging to the immigrant community, and suicide prevention. Dr. Hutter holds one master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, another in Clinical Psychology, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
