Clinical Issues & Treatment Strategies for the LGBTQIA+ Community

Cost for the Training: $40
This training is for clinicians, nurses, PSS, and others who are interested in learning about the LGBTQIA+ population and common clinical considerations when working with this community. This is also an opportunity to provide clinical examples and receive consultation on best practices when working with LGBTQIA+ clients. This training qualifies for 2.0 NBCC/ACEP continuing education approved hours. Journey is an approved ACEP provider. (No. 6760).
Brannen Clark, MSW, LCSW, Yahara House, Journey, Clinical Specialist.
"Brannen is a Clinical Specialist at Yahara House and an LGBTQIA+ consultant based in Madison, WI. They hold a BA in Psychology and German from Concordia College and a Master of Social Work from UW-Madison. They have been working with, advocating for, and training others about the LGBTQIA+ community since 2008. Brannen has been providing clinical trainings and consultations regarding the transgender, gender non-conforming, and nonbinary community since 2015."
*Journey Mental Health Center has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6760. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credits are clearly identified. Journey Mental Health Center is solely responsible for all aspects of this program.
